Cannabis gets a place at City Hall. Next to coffee
Cannabis has found a place at Sacramento City Hall – in the Plantas de Poder exhibition, alongside coffee, tea and cacao. Curator Lorena Rodríguez brought together six local artists to explore seven plants through cultural memory, family stories and relationships with nature – this time, cannabis has a part in the conversation rather than a price tag. The exhibition includes ceramics, photographs, prints and paintings made with plant-derived pigments; the city published a fresh account of it on 2 November. Admission is free until 15 December, and the show opened back on 23 September.
