New York cannabis talks business over a bagel

A bagel proved useful to New York’s cannabis business: in Peter Su’s interviews for Forbes, published on 2 November, Sorse Technology’s Laurie Parfitt singled out the informal Jews in Weed Bagel Bash. Wendi Ezgur, founder of Hijnx, described a conversation on the patio turning into dispensary orders. Jason Ambrosino of Veterans Holdings values personal relationships too, but is not signing up for the collective optimism: in his view, changes in regulatory leadership and inconsistent enforcement make planning and investment difficult.
