New Jersey's patient register loses a quarter in a year

New Jersey's commission reports 42,191 participants in the medical programme as of 15 October 2026; an official September 2025 slide listed 55,513. That is a decline of 13,322 people, or about 24%, although the published figures do not explain why — possible factors range from movement to the adult-use market to ordinary registration expiry. The regulator also lists more than 320 licensed dispensaries: there are plenty of storefronts, while the medical register has chosen a diet without an explanatory note.
