Massachusetts counts $10 billion in sales and prepares another rules update

The state commission’s annual report records $10 billion in gross cannabis sales by September 2026, $285 million in sales and excise-tax revenue, and 76,289 certified active patients. At the same time, the regulator is implementing the 2026 law, changing the commission’s structure, licence caps, financial-interest thresholds and medical vertical-integration rules. The market has reached a round number while its manual keeps arriving in supplements.
