THC-rich extracts are tested on two leukaemia cell lines

Researchers compared extracts from six Cannabis sativa varieties in U937 and K562 cell lines. Extracts with a high THC-to-CBD ratio more often triggered hallmarks of apoptosis and immunogenic cell death, but macrophage responses depended on the cell line. This was an in-vitro study, not a patient trial: the authors explicitly call for further mechanistic and in-vivo work.
