New Jersey’s Latino scene adds live bomba to the market

Elizabeth is hosting the second Cultura Con Fuego after roughly 250 people attended its debut, bringing together Latino entrepreneurs, artists, DJs and an Afro-Puerto Rican bomba ensemble. Organisers and the owner of a local Latino-owned dispensary describe it as a place where the community sees its own people, music and opportunities alongside the products. Markets usually count tills; this one is also counting the people on both sides of the counter.
