CBD restored interest in satiated rats, but people are a long way off

Researchers in Mexico tested how acute and 14-day oral CBD treatment affected sexual behaviour in adult male rats. In animals whose motivation had been suppressed after mating, one specific dose temporarily restored sexual interest; the 14-day treatment did not impair behaviour in rats that were already sexually active. Each experimental group contained eight animals, so the study shows a laboratory effect and does not establish that CBD helps sexual dysfunction in people.
