Queer cannabis histories leave the algorithm for a paper zine

At Los Angeles' Circa queer histories festival, the Potent Histories workshop compared the fragile memory of social platforms with a physical archive. After a shared meal and work with One Institute materials, participants made handmade records of the intersection between LGBTQ+ life and cannabis culture; some will enter a limited-edition zine. Algorithms forget inconvenient histories quickly, so the archivists chose an older storage system: paper, scissors and people who remember.
