Durham turns a defence of hemp into a concert with a lecture

Save Tonight playing hits from the 1990s and 2000s, local vendors and a talk about the endocannabinoid system: that is the programme for High Times Hemp Bev Fest, scheduled for 25 October at Durham's Motorco Music Hall. Lobbying with concert speakers: the organisers made it part of the Save Hemp Tour ahead of the federal restriction on hemp products from 11 December. The announcement lists hemp drinks, a people's choice vote and a presentation by DorothyBelle Poli, director of Cannabis Studies at Roanoke College; admission is free for adults aged 21 and over. The available sources describe the programme, not the evening's results.
