Customers expect a share of the tax savings

In the accounts, it is a tax saving; to the customer, it is hope for a smaller price tag. In a NuggMD platform poll, 74% of 654 cannabis consumers in states with legal markets said they expected lower prices if companies received tax relief following a change in cannabis’s federal classification. The other 26% expected businesses to keep the savings; responses were collected on 8–15 October, and Marijuana Moment published the findings on 3 November. The question was conditional: the poll does not establish which shops have already received relief or how much money they have actually passed on to customers.
